Nestled into the mountainside just above the town centre, south facing and sun drenched all day long, St Piran boasts stunning panoramic views.
Walk through the door, smile and sigh with relief- ‘ah, now we can relax!’
An eclectic mix of old and new create a fashionably ‘shabby chic’ style. With casually placed items such as hand crafts, traditional skis and other memorabilia, to quirky cushions and sheepskin rugs, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a stylish ‘Country Living’ photo shoot! The owners truly have thought of everything and simply wish for you to have a lovely holiday.
The rustic exterior enhances the general feel of peace and tranquility. A vast, south facing deck presents stunning views over the resort and mountains.
Relax on the balcony with your morning coffee. Enjoy a well earned mulled wine or chilled beer in the evening.Feel blissful, relaxed yet exhilarated, cleansed, re-energised, and by the end of our retreat, prepared for your return home, refreshed, feeling better, and ready to re-book for next year!
You will truly love your time at St Piran.

Lift passes give access to three, well linked areas: Villars-Gryon-Diablerets
72 runs, total length 225 km .
The area is comparatively less busy (than better known resorts). It seems to attract 'considerate' visitors, + the wide, open, sweeping pistes = thoroughly enjoyable snow time. Take your time, drink in the spectacular scenery. You’ll wonder why you’ve never been here before- Villars is a well kept secret, gem of a resort.Ideal for mixed abilities- from learners on the nursery slopes to intermediates- spolied for choice with plentiful, interesting reds. Advanced skiers and boarders are very well catered for with bountiful off piste options to discover, explore and enjoy!
3 Snow parks,
44 km cross country ski tracks
Winter walking paths -
1 gondola- from Villars to Roc d’Orsay 3 cable cars
8 chair lifts
21 drag lifts
2 travelators
Ski train and bus (free of charge with lift pass) linking Villars to the other nearby areas. -
Out:
With sufficient snow you can ski directly from the chalet down the road, then pick up the final bit of piste which takes you to the Roc d'Orsay tele-cabin, <400m total. With less snow: walk 200m to where the road crosses the piste then ski 200m to the lift.
In:
Ride the piste to where it crosses the road then walk 200m over to the chalet. Or complete the run, exit through the tele-cabin: Leave your kit in your heated locker (hang out in the bar!) then walk <1km back up to the chalet via the road. -
